Response #4

"The conditions under which individuals have intercourse with each other, so long as the above-mentioned contradiction is absent, are conditions appertaining to their individuality, in no way external to them; conditions under which these defenite individuals, living under defenite relationships, can it alone produce thier material life and what is connected with it; are thus the conditions of their self activity and are produced by this self-activity."

What are these conditions Marx and Engels refers to that can produce their material life?

This most definitely is a very difficult text to read and understand, however I was able to make light, so I believe, of what Marx was spewing from his mouth in this particular quote.
The most important thing in comprehending this was to realize that "intercourse" means interaction with each other, and not the literal meaning.
I truly think that what is being said here is that people are only "allowed" to have interaction with each other when it only pertains to the productive force (labor grouping or class) that they are in. The idea of Communism is to eradicate individuality altogether, so for two people to engage in "intercourse" it has to be connected with their "material life and what is connected with it" which comes from their activity's in their every day life which in turn comes from their labour activity.
I feel it is explained in a previous description by Marx, "The relation of the productive forces to the form of intercourse is the relation of the form of the intercourse to the occupation or activity of the individuals."
In the communistic society there are no classes under the bourgeoise, just one united people under the govn't. There is nothing for people to be having intercourse because they are a new fetter (chainlink [bring chained down]) who are only to think of the State one in unity.
